Paula serves as a research associate and the Communications Director for CBPP. She provides research expertise and support along with significant leadership in grant and donor development for CBPP. Paula received her PhD in global health from San Diego State University and the University of California San Diego, with an emphasis on environmental health and vulnerable populations. She also brings  over 15 years of experience in fundraising, grant writing, strategic planning and research on tobacco waste to our organization.

 

She is currently an Assistant Professor at Texas State University in the School of Health Professions with Adjunct Assistant Professor appointments in the Graduate School of Public Health at San Diego State University and UTHealth School of Public Health.
