Outreach Manager, Surfrider Foundation

Stefanie Sekich, Coastal Campaign Specialist, works for the Headquarters of the Surfrider Foundation and also serves on the Advisory Committee for the San Diego Chapter.  She obtained her MA in Environmental Law and Policy from the University of Keele, in Staffordshire England.  Stefanie has over 12 years of experience working with environmental nonprofits.  When Stefanie is not too busy with environmental campaigns, she also teaches an environmental studies course for University of Phoenix.  

Stefanie has been heavily involved with the Surfrider Foundation campaign called: Hold Onto Your Butt!  The campaign focuses on working with community groups, city municipalities, private businesses and government agencies to educate the public about cigarette litter and reduce its environmental impacts.
