Butt waste isn’t just litter:

Cigarette butt waste damages habitat, landscapes and ecosystems; ignites destructive, deadly fires; poisons wildlife and children; consumes tax dollars for cleanup and disposal;

and lasts forever!

WHO WE ARE

We are a 501c3 non-profit organization who advocates for effective butt-free policies by encouraging community dialogue, conducting research into the toxicity of tobacco waste and  explaining the economics of cleaning up cigarette waste.

WHERE WE STAND

Among other initiatives and interventions that address the environmental and human health impacts of cigarette butt and other tobacco product waste, we support and advocate for policy and regulatory interventions as part of our organizational outreach.

WHAT WE DO

We provide expert assistance to governments, communities, organizations and individuals seeking to reduce the environmental burden of cigarette butt waste. Cigarette butt waste has polluted our beaches, parks and communities long enough - it’s time to take action!
